Description
NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. I WILL ALLOW LOCAL PICKUP.This is a mandolin. It was made in Mexico.
This instrument has 12 strings, four courses of three strings each. It is tuned & played similar to a mandolín. This instrument is also known as a mandriola or tricordia.
The person I got this instrument from told me they had purchased it in 1996 in Mexico City, in the Artenesas Cuididela.
It is very pretty and in great condition. It comes with a nice hard Shell case, which has ‘yuly’ embossed on it.
I am not much of a mandolin person, and I am having trouble with getting the intonation correct. Hopefully, the buyer will know how to set this up correctly.
There is a piece of low-tack masking tape near the bridge, which I was using to determine the correct bridge position.
See photos for condition.
