L. JAMES at Carmel Highlands (Greene & Greene architects).  This advertising sheet quotes an articles from the October 1922 issue of "THE ARCHITECTURAL RECORD" magazine.  This is a famous Greene & Greene craftsman style house designed by Charles Sumner Greene (misspelled "Green" in the article).  This is a one-sided sheet advertising / promoting the services of the Gladding, McBean & Company, Crocker Building, San Francisco.  In 1922, Carmel-By-The-Sea was still known as a Bohemian arts community.  This flier is printed on thick, fancy paper.  Possibly printed on a local California small press for the company.  It's in very good condition.
