Up for bid are two 1934 Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp Invoices sold to M F Brockmeyer Cigar Co.-St Louis MO-These invoices are for cigarettes (Old North State & Kools), Golden Grain smoking tobacco, Bugler chewing tobacco &
Tube Rose snuff . Historically, the NRA (“We do our part”) Member logo on the invoices refers to Franklin Roosevelt’s National Recovery Act which was established in 1933 to foster “fair business practices”and eliminate cut throat competition. This emblem was used by businesses as stamps as well as displays in windows in stores.
Condition: Some minor edge wear and staple holes, but otherwise, in good to very good condition. See photos.
