    This is a 2 piece box by American Steel Wool Mfg. Co. 42-24 Orchard St. Long Island, NY. We beleive it is from 1940's or 1950's. 2 piece box with the pad holding  box sliding into the outer box. Measures 7 by 5 by 3 inches.There are still some original wool pads in the box which are pictured. Nice colorful box which would look nice displayed.
