Walt Disney's sixteenth animated feature film was "Sleeping Beauty," which was released into theaters in 1959. "Sleeping Beauty" is the tale of Princess Aurora, who was cursed at birth to die by the stab of a spinning wheel spindle at the age of sixteen, by the wicked fairy Maleficent. As a means to circumvent the evil spell, Aurora is re-named Briar Rose and raised by three good fairies. The story is based upon "La Belle au bois dormant" (The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood), written by French author Charles Perrault in the 17th century. "Sleeping Beauty" is the final "Princess" genre film produced by Walt Disney prior to his death in 1966, and the final princess themed film until "The Little Mermaid" in 1989.

The charming character of Briar Rose is given life through the artistry of a team of talented, animators including Marc Davis, whose career with Disney began as an apprentice animator on "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Davis was the illustrator of many of Disney's most unforgettable female characterizations, including Tinker Bell from "Peter Pan," Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" and Cruella De Vil from "One Hundred and One Dalmatians."

Purchases of Bullion Items may not be returned or cancelled for any reason, at any time, but in the event of a manufacturer's defect; it may be exchanged for the same item, within the Company's sole discretion, if otherwise available. In addition to Bullion Items, there are other items from time to time which may not be returned or cancelled for any reason. If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department by calling toll-free at 1-800-362-9004 during Customer Service hours.
Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by Company.
