1991 Les Bains Decores Lotus Flower Toilet & Pedestal Sink Set
A beautiful and rare Les Bains Decores Lotus Flower Toilet & Pedestal Sink set with a white ground decorated with blooming lotus flowers in shades of pinks and green lily pads.  The set is in good gently used condition. Overall very good finish on the toilet with the exception of light scratches on the tank lid on the central right hand side and along the right rim. The pedestal sink is in very good condition with minimal signs of previous use. There are several light scratches on the bottom left side of the stand. We have removed the hardware from the sink to show the condition of the porcelain around the mounting holes in the sink's deck. There is minimal wear to the handles of both fixtures with the metal having age appropriate vintage patina.

Originally founded in the early 1770s after the French Revolution, the quickly became a highly appreciated porcelain company all over Europe, specifically in England. After disappearing off the market after the closing of many of France's glass factories in the 1830's they had a comeback in America after WW2 creating cheaper but no less beautiful bathroom and sanitary-ware items like basins or toothbrush holders.
