A-Style 8-String Flat-Back Mandolin   by Pietro Ruffini, Brescia, Italy
Probably about 1900-1920 manufacture.
From long term storage, an old picker-musician relative long gone, RIP.
Good neck, all tuners operate and in great condition, newly re-strung.
Back has crack, old, looks repaired or filled. No delamination. No effect on sound quality.
Lots of playing patina, finish wear on neck, slight rise around sound hole, slight crack in inlay.
Original hard-shell case with fine working latches.
Carefully packed, insured and shipped in continental US and bayous.
