    Color pictographic / pictorial map, approximately 26 x 31 inches, folding to pamphlet 9 x 4 inches, text and black and white illustrations on verso. A striking, uncluttered map in attractive colors with pictographs representing industry, agriculture, activities, and places of interest. Despite the fact that it was issued by the railroads there is no railroad theme to the map. Text and small photo illustrations on the verso of the map describe the sights of America. "Copyright 1936 by Poole Bros. Inc., Chicago U.S.A." along lower edge of map. A later edition of this map was issued in conjunction with the Pullman Company. Item #35619
