    Description

    Offered is a c.1920’s, 16 panel U.S. west coast, multiple maps brochure issued by the Pacific Highway Association of California, a public, non-profit dedicated to stimulating travel on the Pacific Highway from San Diego to Vancouver. The orange, white, and black back and front covers unite to form a single scene of a motorist couple in a open-air coupe travelling along the bucolic highway. Deco graphics are evident. The brochure has a large map of California showing the Pacific Highway and chief roads. There is a separate maps of Oregon and Washington/British Columbia. There 10 small strip maps showing highway details—e.g. from San Diego to Los Angeles, from Seattle to Vancouver. A distance chart shows mileage between all major cities along the route. There are 12 photo-illustrations of scenic attractions including view from City Park, Portland, Mission San Juan Bautista, Balboa Park in San Diego etc.
