Description
Offered is a dated 1923 ticket for a Mardi Gras costume ball sponsored by the freemasonry, Islam Temple—Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, also known as the Shriners. The ball was held at Exposition Auditorium, which we believe refers to the San Francisco building constructed in 1915 for the Pan-Pacific International Exposition. The ticket has a number and features a charming drawing of costumed figures gallivanting about. Prizes were awarded for the most original and beautiful costumes. The back is blankSize: 2.75" X 5"
Condition: Very good, with the edges of the blank back showing evidence of having been in a scrapbook.
