CBS TV Framed Prop Psychiatric Certificate: Character - BENJAMIN LIPKIN
Up for sale is a one of a kind CBS TV prop of an "American Psychiatric Association" certificate for character BENJAMIN LIPKIN and dated 1983.  The certificate is framed and has non-glare camera friendly "glass".  The paper is 13.5" X 10.5" and the frame is 15.5" X 12.5".  Benjamin Lipkin letter's are individually cut out and glued into place.  This is the second time the piece has been used for a character.  The original name has been whited out but some of it can still be read--might be fun to do a little investigating there as well as trying to figure out what show Benjamin Lipkin was from.  The paper is in nice condition (other than the change name) and the frame has only slight surface wear.  The prop people were always clever whenever they could get away with it.  There is a hand written signature on the certificate that says "Linda Jordan"--often the signatures were other crew people, characters, guest actors etc.  So this signature need some investigating as well.  Check out my other prop awards.
