David White Meridian Thread Adapter to 5/8x11 tripod--They're baaccckkk!

Years in the making! Hand crafted aluminum adapter will adapt your vintage David White Meridian instruments to a modern 5/8x11 tripod of your choice. The Meridian Instruments (L6-20, LT6-900, 8080, 8090, etc.) featured a male thread 11/16"x26 for the attachment of the tripod. The proprietary tripod had a fastening bolt with a "cup" female thread to match up. There were a number of components involved with that fastening bolt, but it would not have been economically viable to reproduce all of them. This double-female adapter has the 5/8x11 thread on one end, and the 11/16x26 on the other. There are many Meridian instruments still in service, but tripod parts have not been available for years, and vintage David White tripods for these instruments have gotten pricey on eBay. One of the photos shows the adapter in use with an LP-20 and a funky David white 5/8x11 tripod. Note...later production Meridians wisely went to a 5/8x11 thread. That would be a female thread on the instrument. Flat rate shipping via USPS to all US destinations. No shipments outside of the US, unless you make your own arrangements. ***Okay, our cost to have these made went up for the new order, and I had to purchase a pile of them. Hopefully still a better option than tossing out your beloved Meridian or spending over 0 for an original tripod.
***We ship USPS 1st Class package. This is to keep the cost down as opposed to Priority Mail. Downside is, NO TRACKING. We will ship to you promptly upon payment, and most shipments arrive within a few days, but some have taken longer. That said, we have never had one not arrive at its destination.
