Here is an old half pint embossed glass milk bottle that I found in a Naugatuck CT barn and its in super clean condition after sponging off the thick, crusty dust that had encased it after untold years in a pine shelving unit that was being used to store some plow horse or oxen tack from the early 1900's as a guess. I believe after some research that this bottle was from Massachusetts as Shrewsbury is in Worcester County. The condition is astounding and you really have to study it to find any contact marks. There is some light wear on a letter here and there but very minor. Maybe some trace outer surface weak scuffs in random areas but If you are a discriminating collector then this example is probably for you. Its pretty close to looking only used once and put in the barn. Maybe the old farmers dad drank it before plowing on a hot day. Please ask questions in advance. This is a nice little milk bottle and all the lettering is embossed in the glass which makes it an older one.
