Vintage Epiphone A Type BG 50
Light Blue Label Says Kalamazoo, Michigan Made in Japan.
I believe it to be made in the early 70s when Epiphone first shifted to Japan.
Great action and tone, has a nice loud churp.

The Heavy Ashton Bailey Etched tailpiece
can no longer be found
and the Hand Made Full Contact Bone and Rosewood bridge really makes a huge
difference in the volume and tone. The excellent fit and finish, not found in some later Japanese Mandolins and the Open Book Gibson style headstock is extremely rare. I believe the build date to be in the mid 1970s making it nearly 50 years old. Original bridge included.
Minor play wear and repaired crack on the bottom side seen in pic# 8.
