    Description

    Authentic Woodstock Collectable
    50th Anniversary!
Amazing rock 'n roll historical artifact! ORIGINAL 1969 One Qt. glass milk bottle produced by Yasgur Farms Dairy in Bethel, New York.
Between August 15 - 18,1969 Max Yasgur's dairy farm was the site of the incredible Woodstock Music Festival.     An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music
The concert featured some of the most famous rock acts of the day: Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, and many more. In 1971, less than two years after the festival, Max Yasgur sold the farm; and sadly, died nineteen months later.
This impressive, thick glass bottle measures 9.5" tall and is in excellent condition (no chips or cracks - has some minor rub marks on the glass but 99% of the lettering and graphics are intact).
Front of bottle features the distinctive Yasgur Farms Diary logo and "BETHEL, N.Y. 12720" .
Back of bottle shows image of a dairy cow with the words "DIRECT FROM FARM TO YOU" and the message "YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO COME IN AND SEE WHY WE'RE SO PROUD OF THE MILK WE PRODUCE PASTEURIZE AND BOTTLE AT YASGUR FARMS."
Embossed on the glass: "69"  - year of Woodstock - on bottom; along the rim of bottle are the following words: "Liquid," "1 Reg," "Sealed 52 Anu" and "One Quart."; and "1 QT" two times on the shoulders of the bottle
This auction is for ONE bottle - photos shows both sides and details of imprint - Bottle is empty
