This is a 2010 Gilchrist Model 4jr

The Maple for this instrument come from the "D log" which Gilchrist hand picked. Gilchrists from the D log are highly prized by collectors and players. Gilchrist actually held back this instrument for his personal use and it was extensively used by noted mandolinist Chris Thile on session with Punch Brothers in spring/summer 2014.
This instrument is in excellent condition with no issues to mention. Comes with original hardshell case also in excellent condition.
