The M-401A pickguard for F-style mandolin is manufactured in the traditional size and shape to complement and protect the top of any mandolin. Made of three plies of laminated plastic – black/white/black – and attaches similar to vintage designs with pins that mount to the side of the fingerboard. Clean and simple to install. The pickguard elevates the hand to the correct playing position and prevents damage to the instrument’s top.
