Hewland MK 4 CW&P Ring & Pinion w/Bearing-Genuine Hewland 9/31 HC4-205

Description

Original Genuine Hewland MK 4 Crown Wheel & Pinion with ball pinion bearing that is no longer made.
HC4-205 9/31 CW&P plus the bearing.
I believe these fit Mk-3-Mk7 but verify before purchase.
These have not been available for decades and you may never see another available in this condition.

This is a used part but you won't find a nicer one for sale, much less a genuine Hewland part.
This is NOT a re-machined VW part, but a genuine original Hewland part in the correct ratio for most vintage racing applications.
Bearing turns smoothly and the teeth are in great used condition.
This crown wheel has the bolt pattern that measures around 5 7/16 bolt circle.
