    Isamu Noguchi created AKARI (designer lighting), a lighting sculpture made of high-quality Japanese paper by the world-famous sculptor Isamu Noguchi.
    The lighting sculpture named "AKARI" (Designer's Lighting) was created by Isamu Noguchi in 1967 as a result of an encounter between Isamu Noguchi and the Gifu lantern, a traditional industry in Gifu.
    This work by Isamu Noguchi is a beautiful craft (designer lighting) unique to Japan that has been successfully revived in the modern age.
    Isamu Noguchi's designer lighting has been widely used in homes and stores around the world, including the Good Design Award in Japan and the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
    AKARI Stand Light 23 N by Isamu Noguchi Design is a large size floor lamp.
    This series features three or four thin iron wire legs and is designed to be as light as possible. Every AKARI is carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen.
