    2nd Edition. English language 24 pp Guidebook, 6.5 x 4 inches, detailing attractions in Stresa and the neighboring region. At the rear of the Guidebook is a folding map approximately 13 x 18 inches depicting Stresa and the surrounding area. Short tear (repaired) at hinge. Light wear to color pictorial paper covers. Stresa, located on the shores of Lago Maggiore, has been a tourist destination from the early 20th century. The Guidebook states: "Malaria and mosquitos are unknown. Excellent drinking water." Attractions such as the Stresa-Mattarone Electric Railway are described ("the highest mountain railway in Italy" with "majestic and beautiful" views.) Overall, good clean condition. Item #49196
