Being offered is an original black and white photographic negative of Davenport, Rock Island & North Western Railway EMC SW-1 diesel unit No. 86.  The view is a right 3/4 shot of the unit taken at Davenport, IA, on October 7, 1978.  The identity of the photographer is unknown.  The negative measures approximately 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, is well composed, properly exposed, and in sharp focus.  Excellent shot that should make fine prints.
