Up for bids is an original black and white photographic negative of New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad Alco S-1 diesel unit No. 0984.  The view is a left 3/4 shot of the unit taken at Cedar Hill Yard, New Haven, CT, on July 26, 1966.  The identity of the photographer is unknown.  The negative measures approximately 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, is well composed, properly exposed, and in sharp focus.  Fine roster shot that should make great prints.
