Being offered is an original black and white photographic negative of Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad Alco S-2 diesel unit No. 55.  The view is a left 3/4 shot of the unit taken at Richmond, VA, on September 22, 1973.  The identity of the photographer is unknown.  The negative measures approximately 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches, is well composed, properly exposed, and in sharp focus.  Nice shot that should make fine prints.
