    Description

    This is a vintage Tall, Square, Pyroglazed, Quart (T.S.P.Q.) milk bottle. Some refer to the "pyro" painted graphics, as an "Applied Color Label." (ACL) One side reads: "JOHNSON'S GRADE A DAIRY PRODUCTS...LAWTON OKLA...PHONE NO. 72" The opposite side is marked: "See what you buy! GET MILK IN *GLASS* THE PERFECT CONTAINER." The underside is embossed, "49", which I believe indicates that it was made in 1949. There is a small (BB sized) bruise, or surface chip, on one side. (See last close-up, with pencil point), otherwise, it is very nice, with only minor wear. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back. Will be shipped EMPTY, without the styrofoam "milk" seen in some of the photos.
