ORIGINAL 1955 'LADY AND THE TRAMP' LADY IN MUZZLE WITH TRAMP PRODUCTION CEL
This is just a great original piece. Out of all the cels I have bought in the last decade or so, this is my favorite (I said that about the last Lady and the Tramp cel of the cooks I was selling and then I acquired this one).  First off, Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time.  This is really one of the more rare original cels from that movie.  I know the most desirable is the spaghetti scene but those sell for ,000+.  I have done a lot of research on this one and not been able to find another example anywhere.  The image of Lady in the muzzle is not one that I can find anywhere.
This is one of the early examples sold by Disney as it has the original label verso but it does not have the Art Corner information on the label.  It is a double layer cel with both attached at the top and bottom margin to original backing with the small staples.  Total size measures 9 x 12 inches.
Tramp measures about 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches with Lady about 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.  Overall, excellent condition.  There are some spots of crinkling and cracking to the paint but nothing too bad at all.  Tramp's right ear and above his right eye.  A few other very small spots but nothing else. Unframed.
