Rare original production cel of penguins from Mary Poppins. (Walt Disney Studios, 1964) Original production cel featuring a large penguin waiter from the animated "Jolly Holiday" sequence of Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins went on to become one of Disney's most successful feature films, winning five Academy Awards. The cel has been slightly trimmed at the studio to 8 x 10 in. and stapled to a colored paper background. This cel was prepared for sale at the "Art Corner" in Disneyland, and is still in the original "Art Corner" mat with Disneyland gold label on the reverse. The entire matted piece measures 10 x 12 in. Total image size of the penguin is 8 x 5 in. Overall condition is good with staining and discoloration to the mat.
