    So here's an old rusty Underwriters Laboratories Safety Can #A833560, used for hauling and storing gas or kerosene back in the day- - -at least that's what it had been (past tense), today it is material for making a "
    rustic"
    lamp shade, all buyer has to do is cut out/open up the bottom floor for a righteous doityourselfer rustic lamp shade. This translates into something that could not be bought in the local lamp store, so your friends and loved ones will be sooooo proud of your accomplishment.  You'll note I took the liberty of polishing the makers mark brass plaque. The center of gravity of this can is right at the center/vertical section of the handle, right in front of my hand in the last photo above, so if buyer wishes I can weld-on a mounting bracket/eyelet at the center of gravity so that the shade hangs perpendicular, lemme know.  Also, look at the various choices of rusty/rustic chain I have listed in my ebay store, perfect match for hanging this puppy.
