    *Up for sale here is a very rare western milk bottle, from the southern California desert town of Hemet, California. This round embossed pint is in excellent condition, and is sparkling clean with no wear, or any other issues. Bottle was never tumbled. The old clear glass has a slight smoky straw cast to it. This example from the west would date into the mid to late teens.
    *It is boldly embossed in a round slug plate ~ "VALLEY CENTRAL DAIRY / HEMET". Above this it reads straight across ~ "One Pint". On the lower heel it is embossed ~ "S.G. CO." for the glass house. On the base it reads ~ "TraXTuf / 5". This rare pint milk bottle measures 7 1/4 inches tall, and 3 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this piece of milk bottle and dairy history, from the state of California.
