The bone china cup measures 3-3/8 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches tall. The matching saucer is 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
This beautiful teacup and saucer set by Rosina Bone China, England, is decorated with February’s flower, the violet. clusters of dainty purple violets accented with green leaves and tendrils are on both the front and back of the teacup. The saucer has matching sprays of violets, a large one on the right side, with a smaller group on the left side of the saucer. Both the teacup and scalloped saucer are trimmed with gold on the edge, and the flat foot of the cup and handle are also trimmed in gold.
Backstamp:
It is stamped with the pink and black Crown and Rose backstamp that reads ”Made in England" arched above the crown. “Bone China” flanks the crown and "Rosina" is printed beneath the pink rose.
Pattern:  The pattern number does not show on the cup, research shows on similar items as pattern #413.
Rosina was a Trade Name of Queen's Pottery, and this mark was first used circa 1952 +.
Condition
:
Pre-owned, unused and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repair. Please preview all photos as they are part of the description.
Note
: These are vintage pieces and may have minor flaws. There is a tiny dark spot mark near the bottom of the cup that looks as though it occurred in the manufacturing process, and there is a uneven dip in glaze area on the back of the saucer.
