A glorious ROSINA fine bone china cup and saucer set is being offered from the 1960's. This exquisite vintage set is in EXCELLENT vintage condition with no cracks, no chips, no crazing and very minor use. Both pieces are marked on their bottom sides and the cup also indicates the number in gold. A little bit of history here... Rosina Fine Bone China was produced by the Rosina China Company Ltd, manufacturers of bone china at Queens Pottery a china manufacturer based in England. The company operated from their pottery in Longton, Staffordshire., and began trading in 1941. Rosina is known for their magnificent cup handles and for their intricate floral patterns.
Cup measures approximately 2 1/2 inches high from top to bottom
Diameter (across cup) is approximately 3 1/4 inches
Saucer is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter
Made in England, each striking piece is a gentle light blue featuring a lovely blue floral design with green leaves. The floral design is fully around the saucer and on the top portion of the inside cup.  Lovely gold gilt adorns the edge of each piece, in areas of the saucer and accenting the handle and base of the cup. The gold trim looks very fresh despite the age of this set and it is very pretty in person. This is such an elegant collectible set! Perfect for the cup and saucer collector or for anyone who appreciates exquisite fine china. HAND WASH WITH CARE ONLY! Do not put in dishwasher.
