Description

The newest color scheme of the Union Pacific Railroad, an SD70AH and a tribute to the American Military.  In  August 1943, a Boeing B17F 'Flying Fortress' bomber was christened 'Spirit of the Union Pacific'.  She was funded by war bond contributions from Union Pacific employees and was the first heavy bomber to be named after a railroad.  She flew as part of the 571st Bomber Squadron and was shot down on her 15th mission while bombing military installations at Munster, Germany.  The printing on the shirt explains which part of the color scheme represents which branch of the military.
A really neat shirt.  A few of the shirts are Hanes, but most are Gildan. Some have tearaway tags, some have no tags.
