This Capper as well as Pogs / Caps were given to me by my neighbor some years ago who's family owned Dana Farms In Fairhaven, Mass. He was also an
avid
collector
of Milk Bottles and Dairy
Nostalgia. This capper as well as the Pogs / Caps were used on his farm,
DANA FARMS FAIRHAVEN MASS.
This capper has cosmetic wear and needs to be oiled to function. It is a
BEAUTIFUL
PIECE for display as it is. The Pogs / Caps are in wonderful condition for 1940's .
This is the Vintage, real McCoy.
This is NOT a modern day replica. Guaranteed authentic ! Vintage MILK BOTTLE CAPPER POG / CAP hand Machine. Heavy cast
aluminium
and brass 12 1/2" tall as it is now. With oil I
believe
it would push down to
approximately
9 1/2". There are no manufacturing marks. Handle marked B1-120, Side marked B1-201A, Base marked B1-4061.
