Vintage 1955 Bishop's Dairies "Serve Delicious Cottage Cheese"  1 Quart Milk Bottle
Good vintage condition overall, typical signs of age/storage, this bottle is from a dig and shows signs of being in the ground, most of the original (paint) labeling is present and intact, some surface scuffs and scratches on the bottle no cracks or chips in the lip or bottle itself.
It has a tab covering the top, I do not believe it to be original .
Measures 8 3/4" height.
Date stamp 55 (1955).
Green advertising lettering reads, "Have you tried Grade "a" Milk, Pasteurized Milk, Homogenized V.D. Milk, Chocolate Drink, Orange Drink, Skimmed Milk, Cream Buttermilk, Light Cream, Heavy Cream, Cottage Cheese, Fresh Eggs, Grade AA Butter "Ask Our Driver".  The Red reads (around the top) Bishops Diaries, Packaged in Glass For Your Protection - See What You Buy Buy In Glass.  The Brown graphics reads, "Serve delicious Cottage Cheese Order a jar Today!"
