Here you go- straight from our vintage basement bath with minimal use and in near-perfect condition! Remodeling and needed a different profile to fit the space so out it came... I've cleaned to where I'd happily eat an egg off the business end of it. Just dare me.Made for 12 inch rough-in (standard) with a rounded bowl 14 1/4 inches above the floor. You can get the full rebuild kit from your local home improvement store starting around . Color is Biscuit, although 'Linen' is the trademarked color of American Standard whose color chip you can buy from Plumbing Supply's website to compare to your own bath. One photo is of a sheet of white printer paper resting on the toilet for comparison. It's a pale biscuit, basically. Plumbing Supply then gives you a discount when you purchase their perfectly color-matched toilet seat after buying the chip.
This 1985 toilet is the last generation of good-flushing toilets- the height of American Flushing Power- right before everyone went to 1.6 gallon and slowly relearned how to make them flush properly. It took ten+ years to get it right again; anyone with a late 80's/early 90's bath can attest. And this is true porcelain, harder and longer-lasting than the cheap glazed ceramic like most are today.
Not a crack in sight, no scratches or scuffs, and no dull spots on the finish. You can see the reflection and shine from any angle in my outdoor light. One tiny chip, about 1/8in, at the rear right of the tank lid as shown.
Local pickup works (in MD just NE of DC), I have some ability to meet/deliver on road trips this fall, or I can box and ship it. I'd send in 2 separate boxes via Fedex Ground for usually better rates and gentler handling. Buyer pays for the larger box with the bowl, I'll cover the cost of the second box with the tank and lid. How's that?
