Vintage Art Silhouette Lady w Glasses Ruffled Blouse Paper Providence RI 1931

Description

Interesting one of a kind original folk art ephemera piece here -- a cut silhouette of a woman wearing glasses and a wonderful period ruffled blouse, dated 1931 in pencil. It was done on a cardstock handbill or invitation from the famous Tilden-Thurber Art and Antique shop in Providence RI, announcing an exhibit by marine artist CJA Wilson.
Paper shows wear and age but nothing too bad -- no tears or stains that detract. On the silhouette, some of the glue and ink touch ups do show because of age, only adding a touch of patina. Both sides loaded with vintage appeal.
Piece measures 3 3/8" x 6 1/4" overall.
