vintage Lindley Dairy 1 QT North Carolina Milk Bottle -  has "A Bottle Of Milk Is A Bottle of Health" embossed around the top of the neck.
My middle name is Lindley which is a family name from Alamance County NC. I am somehow related to the people who ran this now defunct dairy company. This bottle was made long before 1982 when a new Lindley Dairy was incorporated in Snow Camp, NC.
There is a glass bruise mark about half way between the neck and the embossed Name plate, see photo 3. Otherwise good condition, NOT a dug bottle.
