Washburn has been providing musicians with top quality mandolins (as well as other fretted instruments) for over 120 years, and today they present to you the M108SWK, an "F" Style mandolin that truly pays homage to its early predecessors.The soundboard of the Washburn M108SWK is crafted from Solid Spruce and accompanied by solid mahogany back and sides, and when fused together into the "F" style body and quarter sawn Sitka spruce bracing, the M108SWK has a nice warmth to it with incredible tone and projection traditionalists will love. The maple neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard that boasts dot inlays. Just as the fingerboard, the bridge is also ebony, and is paired up with an ABS nut.
